I will be in Artist Alley #122. I will be giving out very cool Slay all Day and Monster at Heart badge ribbons and other monster freebies for attendees. Wicked Tree Press is also hosting a Stage Event at #250 on Sunday, June 30th at 2:30 PM called Exploring Monsters which will include a monster chat and reading from our award-winning graphic novel La Llorona in the Machine followed by free books and an autograph session. If you can’t make it in person, you can check out the books and merch on our website.
Whaaaaaat? No FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND? How can I take this list seriously?!? (jk, Unbound is wild but pretty terrible. The book it was based on is good, though.)
Love it when ROCKY HORROR gets some respect.
Herman Munster (AKA Fred Gwynne) also a wonderful picture book author (adored THE KING WHO RAINED growing up), and this was decades before every celeb had a picture book.
And a shout out for the very first FRANKENSTEIN film adaptation in 1910 by Thomas Edison which is now, alas, lost to time other than a few stills. <https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:512/1*PrU1Bv8611TfA2W5uluRmw.jpeg>
