The Hut
Sheryl discovered this particular trail on an urban hiker’s app. It was a coyote run through an 18-acre walnut reserve in the center of a Los Angeles neighborhood. Not too difficult but steep enough in sections to make it challenging. The reserve was beautiful and pristine half the year, dried up and withered the other half, peaceful year-round. Not too many people knew they could enter it, so not too many did which made the hike incredibly tranquil. Sheryl preferred to hike the paths less travelled. She didn’t like …
