Catchphrase:

“Follow me if you want to return to your world.”

A firefox is a mythological beast that lights up the night sky with a blazing tail, creating the northern lights. This creature is a monster with unimaginable powers, and the many worlds that he travels are truly lucky his soul is full of light and goodness. The great power that a firefox wields would be devastating in a more sinister creature’s hands.

The Finnish word for the Northern Lights is revontulet and translates to fox fires. The name originates from an ancient beast fable in which the aurora borealis is created by a magical fox and his flaming tail that sweeps snow crystals into the sky, setting the sky afire.  The word repo was used by migrant Forest Finns, and it means spell, so they were calling the aurora borealis, spellfires, and believed that they were caused by forces of darkness and light battling in the sky. They also credited the firefox with creating snowflakes and moonlight.
