Catchphrase: The Suff does not do catchphrases. Never. No exceptions. He thinks they are cheap. (I don’t agree) He likes his work to speak for itself.

Suff is a complex entity who can’t be labeled as one type of monster or another. He shifts from one form to another, depending on the decade and what currently suits his needs. He has inspired more than one urban legend. Although, recently, on Substack, he has appeared very close to his truest form which I find fascinating and completely unlike him. Suff, at his core, is a collection of words and feelings that change your very nature. Once you hear The Suff or read him, you become part of his story.  

I just call him Suff. We are particularly close friends because Suff, like me, is connected to something you read. Us entities that are connected to books, tablets, songs, etc. are a tight-knit community and go on a retreat together every decade.
